Owner
Curtis founded Marigold in 2018. An experienced accountant, leader, and entrepreneur, he saw an opportunity to bring great customer service and support to people at a critical decision-making point in the home buying process. He is relationship-oriented and truly cares about the people he works with and serves. Curtis is very involved in his kids’ Coon Rapids sports and coaches many of them! He enjoys camping and traveling. He and his wife, Laura, and their two kids, Everett & Greyleigh, live in Coon Rapids, MN.
Blake
General MANAGER
Blake brings the experience of a seasoned inspector and great communication to his inspections. He has experience in commercial construction that informs the way he approaches an inspection, knowing what to look for and how systems work together. He has his Inspection Certificate in addition to training and certification through ASHI and InterNACHI. He and his wife, Katie, live in Northeast with their daughter, Crosby, son, Jonny, and pup, Walton.

Sr Home Inspector
Dan is family man who genuinely cares for people. He is a problem-solver and a learner. As a Sr Home Inspector, he is very good at communicating with clients and explaining things clearly so that they understand the results of their inspection. Dan loves cars and is a self-taught mechanic, he is a creative at heart, and he brings that curiosity and attention to detail to his work at Marigold. Dan lives in Blaine with his wife, Carol, and their five children.
Jake
Sr HOME INSPECTOR / Trainer
Jake is a believer in hard work and putting people first. He is kind and motivated by serving others, which our clients experience first-hand when they get to work with him! In his free time he loves to tinker, fix, and repurpose things, and he brings that curiosity and detail to his work as a home inspector. Jake has passed the National Home Inspector Examination®, is licensed in the state of WI to complete home inspections, and is an ASHI Certified Inspector. He is Minnesota born and raised, and he loves MN sports teams. Mostly, he loves his wife, Rachel, and their two kids, Evert and Eleanor. Their family lives in New Hope, MN.
Kyle K
HOME INSPECTOR / trainer
Kyle brings a strong customer service background to his position as a Certified Home Inspector at Marigold. He also brings an attitude of continual learning and sharing that knowledge with others, often finding himself in a role that helps train others. This really sets him apart as an inspector, because he is able to communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring clients understand the home they are looking to purchase. Kyle lives in Lake Elmo, MN, with his fiance, Morgan.

Mark brings many years of director-level experience to the Marigold team. He applies his knowledge, precision, and ability to set anyone at ease to his inspections every day. Mark is the kind of guy you’d call in a pinch, and you know he’d be there to help you out. He has obtained certifications and licenses in several add-on services and is committed to continual learning and growth. He lives in Maple Grove, MN, with his wife, Lisa, and they have their children, Bethany & Grant.
Matt
HOME INSPECTOR / Team Lead
Matt is a very dedicated person who puts his whole focus into the things that are important to him. Home Inspecting is no exception, where he focuses on continual growth and learning and has obtained training and certification in many add-on services. He is also the Head Baseball Coach at Coon Rapids High School. He brings that coaching experience and mentality to Realtors and clients, and is able to explain things and really help everyone understand the home inspection. He lives in Columbia Heights, MN, with his wife, Ashley, their kids, Olivia & Max, and their dog, Hank.
Mitchell
Home Inspector / Team Lead
Mitchell has worked in the client experience field for many years, and is devoted to creating strong and real relationships. He is a Certified Professional Inspector and is a champion of our culture of relationship building with our Realtor Partners and clients. He is an avid fly fisherman and is outside enjoying the great outdoors as often as he can. Having grew up on California, he makes the best of our Minnesota winters by snowboarding. He and his wife, Mandi, live in Robbinsdale with their 3 daughters.
Stephen
Home Inspector
Stephen has worked in fields connected to the real estate industry for much of his career. From appraisals to lending to banking, he has acquired valuable background knowledge and experience that he now uses to support his work as a Certified Professional Home Inspector. Though, his all-time favorite job is being dad to his 2 daughters, Frankie and Parker. He is a very involved father and loves to coach their sports and attend their activities. Stephen loves pizza with milk (ew) and lives in Coon Rapids, MN.

Team lead
Tony carries a calm and very friendly confidence into every interaction he has. As a Sr Home Inspector, he instills trust with clients and Realtors, because he is thorough and is great at explaining things and answering questions. A fun fact about Tony is that he enjoys building custom display football helmets! He loves woodworking, the outdoors, and his family. He is married to Emily, and they and their son, Charlie, live in Monticello, MN.

Walker is a hard worker and team player, and brings a wonderful enthusiasm to our team! He really enjoys building relationships and connecting with clients and our Realtor partners. Outside of Home Inspections, Walker volunteers with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, loves sports including pickleball and tennis, and is our resident lumberjack with his level 1 and 2 chainsaw certification. He is married to Abby and they live in Crystal, MN.

Aaron is helpful, friendly, and professional when it comes to home inspections—bringing a calm, knowledgeable presence to every walkthrough. He takes pride in making the process clear and stress-free for homeowners and real estate agents alike. When he’s not inspecting homes, you’ll likely find him enjoying the great outdoors—whether he’s out camping under the stars or hitting the golf course for a round with friends. He is married to his wife Jenna & they and their son live in Burnsville, MN.

Kelly has over 17 years of military service—including time as a Drill Sergeant—Kelly brings focus, resilience, and a calm, confident presence to every home inspection. Known for her leadership & dedication to helping others. In Kelly’s free time she enjoys camping, off-roading in her Jeep Wrangler, and spending time with her partner Ashley and their toy poodle, Penelope. They live in Lakeville, MN.

Britney oversees the systems and processes that are the backbone of Marigold. She combines her experience in leadership, marketing, finance, and systems development and applies them in making our team cohesive and efficient. She’s passionate about healthy team culture, automations, and summer in Minnesota. She loves camping, gardening, and traveling. Britney lives in Dayton, MN with her husband, David, and their two boys, Parks & Remington.
Carolyn
Executive Assistant
Carolyn brings a blend of organization, communication, and leadership to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies from UW–River Falls and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, with an emphasis in Servant Leadership. Outside of work, she’s an NCAA Women’s College Basketball and Football official—skilled at managing fast-paced environments. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys being with family and friends, attending sporting events and relaxing by the water. She lives in Golden Valley, MN.

CLIENT CARE MANAGER
Maggie is a Minnesota transplant who stayed not only because she loved the people, but she loves the cold! Maggie leads our Client Care team in simultaneously providing the highest quality service to our clients and ensuring our inspection and services teams are set up for success. She is a Certified Professional Home Inspector, Licensed Radon Measurement Professional, as well as certified for many other ancillary services. Maggie is a wealth of information for anyone with questions about our services or the inspection process! She loves her cat Felix, Dr Pepper, and 2000’s throwbacks, and lives in Lakeville, MN, with her girlfriend, Alexa.

Monique is an integral part of our Client Care team, helping to ensure that all the details of every inspection and ancillary service are tended to in our fast-paced environment. She is an expert in the details and customer service, and has previously won Customer Service Excellence and Leadership Excellence Awards. Monique loves singing, cooking and reading, and spending time with her family. She lives in the Philippines with her husband, Aries, and their four children.

Alicia brings years of customer service experience from the healthcare field. Her clear communication and calm-under-pressure approach ensure every client has a seamless experience. Outside of work, you’ll find her fishing, hiking, reading, or if she can’t get outside—playing video games. She lives in New Richmond, WI with her wife, Beth, and their cats: Desmond, Auburn, and Lily.

Sara is our night and weekend warrior, keeping Marigold running when many of the deals in the Real Estate world are happening: after hours! She orchestrates and executes all of our services with ease; she is an excellent problem solver! She also provides top notch customer care and is very patient and kind. Sara is a homebody at heart and absolutely loves her 3 cats, Reese, Cookie, and Lucifer. Originally a midwesterner and not a fan of the cold, she now lives in Miami with her boyfriend, Bryan.

He is excellent at seeing what needs to be done, and rolling up his sleeves to solve the problem. He has experience in construction, has his welding certificate, and enjoys adding new skills to his skillset. Brett loves hunting and unwinds by spending time in the woods when he can, and gaming when he can’t. He is proud father to Jackson, who is his biggest motivation. Brett, his wife, Alli, and their 2 kids, Jackson & Bennet live in Brooklyn Park, MN.

Austin brings a solution-focused mindset to every job, always focused on figuring out how to make things work. With a background in management and a knack for hands-on problem-solving, he’s earned recognition as Best Sewer Scoper and a 2-time Bowling Champion, along with multiple leadership awards from his bowling team. When he’s not helping homeowners, you’ll find him golfing or cheering on his favorite Minnesota sports teams. He lives in Coon Rapids, MN.

Brayden is a Licensed Radon Measurement Professional, and trained in performing visual sewer scopes, water testing, well yield testing, mold testing, and lead paint testing. He is a very versatile team player, and he is kind and patient in communicating his findings with clients. Some of Brayden’s passions include hockey, snowboarding and working out, and living a healthy lifestyle. Brayden lives in Plymouth with his girlfriend, Jenessa.

Derek has been involved in the Real Estate industry for more than 20 years, and has his Real Estate License in addition to being a Licensed Radon Measurement Professional. He is knowledgable and reliable, and leads our Radon team in ensuring our compliance with MN regulations and keeping up with this fast-paced market. In his free time he enjoys watching baseball, traveling, and he loves dogs. Derek has a very dry sense of humor and doesn’t take anything too seriously. He lives in Brooklyn Center with his wife, Andrea, and their dogs.

Jeff has a background in IT and years of experience managing a large sports officials assigning organization, Jeff brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and customer service expertise to Marigold Home Services. He thrives on understanding clients’ needs and finding the best solutions to fit their homes and lifestyles. As a skilled estimator, he ensures that every client receives an accurate and tailored quote. Jeff is also a talented cartoonist who enjoys bringing creativity to life through his illustrations. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction make him an invaluable part of the team.
